Today I went ahead and put in a new motherboard and CPU into my computer. All of that went fine, but now when I try to boot up Windows all it will do is restart my computer, even when I try to get to safe mode:mad: . Ive got the Pro edition Upgrade CD so I dont have any way to do a clean install. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?? Please hurry...
    Any help is appreciated...Thanks!!

With a new MB & CPU, you will most probably have to do a fresh install. Too many internal changes.
Borrow a friends' 98x or ME cd just for confirmation of the previous OS so you can 'upgrade'......

    Good luck
