I am using Ghost to back up my Win2k. However, every time I revert I have to first archive my current favorites, address book, and mail (OE6) to another drive, then put them back.

Is there any way I can get IE and OE to store these things on another drive?

    Thanks!

You can store your Mail in OE 6 wherever you want :)

Tools > Options > Maintenance > Store Folder and enter your preferred location - on any drive.

As for Favourites & Address book I think not, but you can export/import them at will.

I'd also like to store my favourites in a different place.

Do a google search for tweakui. You can get version 1.33 for less than XP and you can get TweakUI Xp also.

The location of many folders can be changed to wherever you want them but Address book is not included.

I think you can get instructions about doing address book from

    here

I do not know for sure about 2K but in all other versions of Windows there is an EXCELLENT and more dependable replacement for Outlook Express.

Eudora can be put on another partition. Addresses set up as Eudora Nicknames and DO NOT get messed up or lost if the C: drive needs formating. As EVERYTHING is stored within the Eudora folder.

It is not Windows, IE or OE dependent. And has done very well for me in all versions of Windows & IE from Win95 up to and including XP Pro.

At this time ( other than version upgrade ) I am using the same Eudora from the same folder on the same E: drive that I used for Win95.

I believe Calypso will do the same.
