I used a tweaking program which had options for the computer power on-off switch operation. I selected "Turn off computer after power switch is pressed for 3 seconds ". Since I made this choice my computer will not automatically restart when I use the restart option on shutdown or when a program prompts me to restart the computer. Windows shuts down but the computer remains "on ". It will only shut down after I keep the power button depressed for 3 seconds. My problem is that I removed the tweak program which I made the setting with and cannot remember which program it was. Does anyone know which Registry setting is used to control the power switch operation and what setting I must use to re-enable the restart function?

    Hi, Zip ~

Have you tried rolling back with the System Restore feature?
