windows system files

    HELP!! error message after trying to install Adobe Photoshop Album = "Adobe (etc) has altered windows system files ". All atempts at restore points = "restoration unsuccessful ". Cannot find online help for this problem. Online help for Adobe suggested I delete all .temp files. Was this the source of my problems? If I re install windows what will I lose? Suggestions much appreciated?

    Welcome to the boards! First off, did you delete all your temp files? Secondly...can you give us the full and complete error message please?
