Windows Explorer Freezes

    Every time I try to add a new Folder within either Windows Explorer or My Computer, everything locks up solid and I have to restart the computer. This occurs whether I try to add the new folder from the File Menu, or by right clicking within the WE or My Computer pane. Otherwise they both work fine.

    I have a 500 mhz Amd K6-2, with 394 MB Ram, and 30 MB Hard Drive.

    There is a apparently a registy fault.
    Try reinstalling Window 98. It will not harm your current settings.
