    Can someone post a list of the bare essential services required to run win2k?

    I had a list once from a hardening windows sight but can not find it now.

    Computer is used for some games and internet access.

    i would have to say in my experience that for the most part only services that are required to run the O/S are started. if you are concerned about security then go to SP2 if not already there and
    perform the critical updates from windowsupdate.
