    Hi,

I am trying to migrate from the mail software in Netscape 7.02 to Microsoft Outlook 2000. However, neither email software appears to be built with the capability to import/export files between these two pieces of software. Does anyone know of a reliable way to transfer mail folders/messages and addresses from the Netscape 7.02 mail software to Outlook 2000?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you tried exporting as a (*.pst) file and then importing the same onto outlook?

Unfortunately, Netscape 7 does not have an export feature. It only allows importing.

Actualy, Netscape 7.0 through 7.02 do have this capability.

In Address Book, open the Tools menu and choose Export.

If you have any other questions perhaps this site would help you.... http://wp.netscape.com/eng/mozilla/ns7/relnotes/7.html

    Hope this helps your dilema.

I cannot remember if the export feature of Netscape 7x allows you
to set up a pst file for Outlook. (I know Outlook 2000 does not know anything about Netscape - wonder why ;-) )
Both support comma separated import / export so maybe go this way for addresses.
On the messages side, I would maybe forward them to your mailbox with Netscape and pick them up with Outlook - unless of
course there are millions of them.
    regards
