I am getting the following error with my Word 2002/Office XP.

Normal was being edited by another Word session. If you save this document with the original nam you will overwrite changes made in the other session. Do you want to save the document using the origanal name anyway?

This message occurs during or at the end of the boot process. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office. I have searched for all normal.dot files and deleted them and then rebooted and it still occurs.

Any idea how to fix it? All ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    OS is Win XP Pro

What happens when you say Yes to the question?

When I say yes, it asks me to save it and even if I save it as--say other.dot--it still will do it the next time I boot, only I now have an other.dot listed.
