How to access Compaq Bios??

Bios??

Any one here know how to get into the BIOS of a "COMPAQ ARMADA 7400 Note Book"
Ive tryed every bloody combination of keys i can think of and none of them work..

To enter BIOS when your Armada is in start up, press F10 when the blinking cursor appears on the right side of the screen after the memory count. In case you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us by email or by calling your Compaq Customer Care Center, which is listed in the documentation you received with your product.

 

OK i tryed that, but the curser is never on the right hand side of the screen.. only the left. There is of course a COMPAQ Splash screen.Once that dissapers, the curser flashes, then the Windows Splash screen comes straight up..

Any thoughts??

Okay fixed this oone... Belive it or not but the BIOS on these note books is on the HDD.. I found it hard to bvelive at first.. But appartently they are on a very small partition on the HDD blah blah blah...so to cut a long very long story short, i had to download this file put it on disk, boot of the disk into the "BIOS" program then change the settings useing the disk save them to HDD and exit...hmmmmm very weird way of doing things, totaly backward to what ive been taught about computers and what the BIOS is for...but hey... I guess i will see weirder things yet..
