XP Home (Japanise Ver) Plus XP Pro (English)

    Hi everyone,
    Just wondering what steps i should be taken to get this done.
    I have to make a Note Book dual Boot with XP Home and XP Pro..
    The thing is XP Home is in Japanese, and the XP Pro (which i have to install) is in English..
    Do I
    1.) Create a new partiton and just install XP Pro on that??
    2.) Wipe The computer create 2 partitions and install XP Pro First??

    Can this be done??
    Please help..

    Hi Redghan101
    Have you solved this one yet? I've not had to do this, but I'd suspect that you'd want to put the home version on first and then the Pro one? And yes, you'd need to create a seperate partition for it.

    Yeh i solved it...Gee it was fun...
    I started the install with my XP pro, created the partition with it and formatted it then shut it down and ran the XP home, as it was a recovery CD and there were no instructions it does it itself oh and it was was in Japan... That installed and i had my fingers crossed that it didnt re-write the partition table, and it didnt, so then on with the Xp pro English version and it all worked fine.

    Nothing to it really
