Another camera problem. XP Home. I have a Pentax camera that was working fine. Since I installed Microsoft Wireless Network the camera is no longer recognized through usb as a mountable drive. (may be a coincidence but only main new install on system)When I plug it in, the tray 'Safely Remove Hardware' symbol appears. Poking around in the Remove Hardware windows yields all of the information about the camera and card, but, it does not appear in Explorer or My Computer as Removable Drive F. Uninstalling and reinstalling usb driver gives expected responses. 1st time connect results in "Finding new Hardware" but, still no F drive. Camera also installed on my older laptop, works fine under 98se.

    FIXED IT!

I thought I would pass this along in case other users have the same problem. To get the system to recognize the camera I had to Disable Auto-Protect in Norton AntiVirus. (This is done by right clicking the icon in the task bar and selecting the appropriate option). Some Live Update along the way must have made changes that now consider the camera to be an unwelcome intruder.

    Cheers,
