VB 6 Problem?

    Im using visual basic 6 to program some stuff for my college work.. but somethigns strange with it. when i do an if statment it dosnt like me puttin end if's in. and thats how we were taught and its always worked before. so y is it now tellin me not to put it in. if i dont it works. but i cant put more if's in the same area or else's

    whats going on?:confused:

    You must have your code mixed up somewhere, which would not surprise me. I had to decipher your post bacause of the typos and misspellings.

    err.. seams 2 make sense to me apart from like 2 spellin mistakes..
    and no my code wasnt wrong..
    i worked it out,
    if u have only one IF statment with the result i.e. "Then" on a line then u dont need End If.

    if u have more IFs then u need to put the IF .......... Then
    on one line followed by the outcomes below this is for using more outcomes than one. then u need to put end if..
