    (To the Moderator)
I posted this in "applications" and have not gotten a response so I thought I may get one here.

    Hi
I received a mini CD from a friend at Christmas and can't get it to run.
    I get the message ....

    M:/ is not accessible
    Device is not ready.

All my other regular size CD's run fine.

    I'm running windows 98
I have an HP Pavilion 4455 with a TECH CD rom and Oak Tech Driver. (I believe ?)

Can any one give me a clue what I may need to do?
    Thanks
    Geri

Some cd-rom drive simply can't read the little critters.

My company sends out demo's on them cause they're so cute. BUT, we've considered just going with regular size cause of the problems...

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.....
Sometimes cd's can be stubborn little critters. Open "My Computer" icon so you can keep an eye of the cd drive icon. Don't click on it until you see the icon change to reflect your cd/id. Some times you may have to listen carefully to the drive to tell if it is spinning=trying to read cd. If it spins down, eject and then push it in again. It may take a few times to get it going.

If this process doesn't work, it is as previously stated, "Your cd and the mini are not compatible ".
