about a week ago the TechTV.com websites stopped working on my PC and at first I thought they may just be working on the site but after a few days I started to wonder. I tried to load some of the TechTV websites in Netscape 7 and Mozilla 1.3 and they just told me that the connection was refused or sometimes it says the connection timed out. I belevie Internet Explorer 6 says that the page cannot be found. Then I grabbed my mac laptop and tried to load a few pages on that and they all worked fine no problems!! What is up with my PC because the TechTV website are the only ones that won't load on it and all others besides techtv come up perfect. I have zone alarm pro and I used Dr.Speed for a while but havent used it recently

do a traceroute to www.techtv.com and see if you can reach the site that way. It could be that you ahve a corrupted temp internet files folder or cookies folder too. Ore these folders are jaut too filled currently, delete them.

Also, if you connect via a proxy, then the cache may need to be updated.

Do you use a hosts file? Do a find for hosts (no extension) and when you find it open it in notepad. See if the techtv site is listed there. If so, delete it from the file. If you don't use the hosts file for blocking ads or something like that you could delete everything in it (if there is anything there) and maybe save yourself some trouble down the road.
