    Hi
Another problem here! The other day, for some reason, everytime I open Internet Explorer or Netscape, everything is to big for my screen! Where before everything fit good now I have to scroll over to see everything on the page. Games like Pogo, I have to go change my settings to a smaller size to fit it. Don't know what happened here, I didn't add anything new and didn't delete anything either. When I do make everything smaller and then go back to put it to where I can see it, Outlook Express and everything I have opened is so big I can't see the 3 buttons in the upper right hand corner. Any help for this???

    I did that too

Hi Rhody 1- I had that happen to me too after fooling around with one game or another. The game had resized my screen area to better display itself. So, what I did is, Start|Settings|Control Panel|Display. Select the Settings tab and look in the lower right corner. There will be a slider that controls the screen area. Move the slider to the right ( toward More) click Apply| OK and see what you have. Repeat to taste. Hope this is it. Clydeo 22.

thats what I have been doing but never had to do that in the past. When I do make things smaller, its so small you can hardly see it!! Before everything was always bigger and dont know why it changed all of a sudden. thanks for the infor tho, I appreciate it.

After you move the Screen Area Slider toward 'More' click the 'Apply', then click the 'Advanced' button just below the slider. Select 'Large Fonts' for font size, and if that's not big enough, choose 'Other' and customize. Click 'Apply'. DO NOT EXIT ALL THE WAY - see next paragraph...

Then select the 'Effects' tab (across the top of the window), and check the 'Use Large Icons'. Click 'Apply', then OK or whatever to get all the way 'out'.

    Reboot as needed (thanks, Windows!!)

Then note the next time the screen 'reverts' to small size, and quit using the app that you used just before the 'reversion' (or contact the vendor and complain - no program should 'mess' with your settings permanently!!)

Let me see if I understand this right. The IE window is fine on the screen, but the page seemed to get real big? Here is something to try. When IE is open, go to the toolbar at View\Text Size, try Medium.
