I have a SanDisk card reader for my digipics, and when I put a card in the reader, XP Automatically brings up the "Scanner and Camera Wizard" which is a neat little tool for chosing which pics you want to download and then facilitating the download. My question is if the "Wizard" comes up, and then I realize that I have to go back to "My Pictures" or something to check something out - I can't get the "Wizard" back unless I unplug the card and then plug it in again. Not a BIG problem because I can do that - but it just seems like I ought to be able to call up the "Wizard ". I'd like to create a shortcut for it but I can't find it anywhere. I can find "Scanner and Camera" in the Control Panel, but it's for installing a camera or scanner. Cliff

Thanks Reboot for your reply - but I don't know how to do what you say - "Make" a shortcut and "Point" it to..... I only know how to make a shortcut if I can find the program. Could you give me a little more specific directions? Thanks. Cliff

I did manage to "Make" a shortcut - right click on desktop, choose "New" - "Shortcut" and I did type in what you said. It did create a shortcut but that shortcut won't read a card in my SanDisk card reader, and I tried to "Add" a new device and that didn't work either. But, thanks for trying to help me. Cliff

I am new to XP myself and had to do a search on a problem I was having with the Photo Wizard always wanting to come up when I wanted to print a picture from My Documents, where I keep them.

Any hooooo.......Go to your HELP & SUPPORT then INDEX then type in the word WIZARD then scroll down to PHOTOS. Now you can read how to set up your scanner and digital camera to use it with their new media programs.

    Hope this helped.

    :)
