Sometimes when Windows won't shut down right, if I do Ctrl+Alt+Del, it shows that RNAAP.EXE is running. If I shut it down, Windows then shuts down properly. What could be making this program run? I'm on a cable connection and never use DUN anymore. I checked for spyware and there's none on my machine now, although Spybot did find Huntbar. Could that have caused RNAAP.EXE to start?

    Hi Hawk,
Seems you have some app that you use that tries to dial home.
Some do this even if they are not "spyware" - AVG Pro and ClipMate are examples.
I do not know how to isolate the app on your PC that is doing this
    - maybe there is a modem or port monitor out there that will intercept the dialer launch ? The app apparently still thinks you have DUN.
    regards

As a matter of fact my Spybot did find Huntbar and got rid of it. I have Spyware Blaster and Huntbar is listed in the things it's supposed to protect against. Could this one thing have gotten by, or maybe it was installed before I updated Spyware Blaster.

I ran the online trojan scan and checked my registry for the Bionet key. I'm clean, so it was Hunt Bar. Hopefully Spyware Blaster will protect me from it. I'd forgotten to check for updates before going online the day it happened. I have to learn to treat Spyware Blaster like an a/v program and update it first thing every morning.
