I have No Ads on my computer and use it for Netsc 7 & IT Explorer.

However, the ads keep coming like rabbits.
Does anyone know if No Ads has a limit to the number of ads in the list?

Also, which other pop up ads are good? I tried Pop Up Stopper, but it stopped me from getting to a web site I HAD TO USE.

Lots of folks use Mozilla (free browser) which works great on pop-ups. I now use Zone Alarm Pro which does the same. Ad Subtract used to be free but didn't help much on pop-ups.

  3. to hide this advert.

    Hi Sal_gal

On this site scroll to this section: and read about adshield
, and how to add a host file into it-- adshield only works with ie
    I think 5 and up
    http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/security.htm
dont disregard becouse it says XP
"Security Issues for Windows XP "

Preventing 3rd party servers from spying on you!

Blocking Ads, Banners, Cookies, Hit Counters, etc with a Hosts File
Combining the power of IE 6 to block Cookies, adding sites\servers to IE's Restricted Zone, using a custom HOSTS file and my favorite Ad Blocker application AdShield 1.2, makes a terrific combination.

An excellent popup stopper is PopupManager which can be found at: http://www.endpopups.com/. It allows you to see what the pop ups that are being stopped are and also allows you to chose which pages to allow popups on.
