download quickbooks updates by DSL?

Hi: we recently moved to DSL, but Intuit Quickbooks Pro insists on using the 56K modem when my wife tries to get the periodic required updates to QB. So how do we get QB to use the DSL connection for getting updates? (The modem not only is slow, but the download fails a lot).
Intuit's online help - isn't (surprise) & their tech support makes you wait hours. But if you know of an Intuit email address or site that actually gets heard by Intuit and whose staff responds, please let us know, if you don't have the fix yourself. Thank you.

 

According to this page on Intuit's Knowledge Base:

To set up an Internet connection
1. From the Help menu, choose Internet Connection Setup.
2. Follow the instructions to setup your current Internet connection

 

Thank you. I think I did try your suggestion, but it's been a month or more & I don't remember. I'll try it next time we have an Intuit update adventure. Meantime, any contacts at Intuit who can help welcomed.
