Had to reinstall windows (98) in an IBM Aptiva. When asks to locate drivers for PCI Ethernet Adaptor can't find them. Any idea where to look?

Your best bet would be to get current 98 drivers from the web site of whoever makes the NIC you have.

Been a while since I worked with 9X but device manager will probably give you details and usually if you go into your network settings there is an adapter tab that will have details.

If all else fails, the NIC itself should have the information stamped on it somewhere.

Plan "A" would be to go to IBM's site and search support for your model.
If you think there is a possibuility it wasn't origional eguipment with your IBM then pop the cover, pull the card out and read it.
