Any new windows opened from links default to minimized - ???

Help! For some reason, any time a link is clicked in IE 5.5, I now get a minimized window that I have to maximize. I realize this should be an easy fix, but I don't know where to change the setting.

Welcome to the boards.
Some things to try:
1st Right click on your IE icon, (down on your taskbar, by the start button) click properties, there is a box on that screen with a pull down - click maximimized and click OK.

See if that works.

If not.....
2nd Open an IE window. From a link within that windows, open another window. Drag the second window until it is of the desired size (don't use the maximize button). Now close the first window and finally close the second window.

Sizes and positions should now be remembered.

And if still no luck......
