I'm running Windows XP on my main (server) PC, with Internet access and am attempting to network my Windows 98 (not SE) to it using a proxy server to gain Internet access. So given that combination, would blocking in & out traffic on port 135 interfere with the network?

If it would not, then how would I set up Sygate Personal Firewall to block that traffic?

Hmm, ok that seems to be what I'm looking for. I'll give it a try.

Am I correct to assume that this will not interfere with my network?

    Thanks.
