Hi all, I am new to this bbs but I am here asking for help. So anyone who can help me I would be deeply grateful. I tried to install Autocad2002 and Microsoft Money 2003 and I encountered and

[error 1606 Could not access network location <Common Administrative Tools>.AllUsers\]

I have tried to resolve this but was unable to. Can anyone help me?

    Simon,

I can't seem to find any more on this issue, at least anything that might help. References to WinXP, but not for 2000. When installing, did you close all other programs by using Ctrl-Alt-Delete?

Nope, when i was installing the softwarez, i did not press cntrl-alt-delete at all. This message just pops out when the installation was starting up. Nothing much else was done. Seems werid isn't it ??

I have managed to resolve this problem finally. Thank you so much for your help. The solution is to set in your registry setting

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools

instead of what was stated in the Microsoft Help file mentioned in the previous message.

    Thank you for everything.

    Simon,

Not sure how much I helped, but you're welcome. Glad to hear that you got things going again! Thanks for the update.
