Running XP Pro SP1, I get a msg "This document cannot be displayed unless you install the Personal Security Manager (PSM). Download and install PSM and try again, or contact your system administrator. "
No clus as to where to download it from - no hits on a search of MS Support. Any help would be appreciated.

You won't be likely to see PSM on the Microsoft site because it is a part of the Netscape browser. You might try (if you don't already have it) Version 6 from Here or maybe switching to IE or Opera for your browser.

    Welcome to the Forum, mrrick!

    Newt,

You're joking, right? Seeking revenger for those jokes I send you? FYI, Netscape 6 is now defunct, and has been for some months.

    mrrick

First of all, what version of Netscape are you using?

Netscape 7.02 is the current Version and there are several different Versions from which to select:
    Holger Metzger's Compact 7.02 - 14.3 MB
    Antony Shen's Streamline 7.02 - 12.65 MB
Offical Netscape Base - 14 MB
Offical Netscape Full Install - 31.6 MB

The PSM should have been included in your install of Netscape, unless you opted out.

You can install the PSM.XPI File online. This link is ONLY for Netscape 7.01/02.
NOTE: you must first enable "Software Installation ".
    The Setting is located here:
Edit | Preferences | Advanced | Software Installation

If you are still using Netscape 6, then please considering upgrading to Version 7.02. There are steps to take before uninstalling Netscape 6.

Please post back with any further questions.

    Ramona :D

Thanks for the help, Newt. It appears that when I installed Mozilla 1.2, I unchecked the PSM box because I didn't know what it was used for. Reinstalled, works fine now.
