I am a MSN Messenger user, which means I cannot communicate with AIM or ICQ users. A bummer to be sure. I've read where there are products that allow the various types to converse. Products like Trillian or Odigo. Can anyone tell me which is the best tool? Or suggest another.

I haven't used Odigo, but I use Trillian all the time. It's fantastic. Logs me on to all the IM services, has IRC, and even allows me to log on to both my Yahoo identities at the same time! Yahoo's messenger won't allow that, Trillian does.

Now that I rebuilt my machine, I loaded Trillian as the only IM program, introduced my kids to it, and they love it too. No more AIM for me! :)

    Thanks for the input Blackbeard!

I have installed Odigo and have been checking it out. It connects me up to my ICQ, AIM and MSN accounts every time. Works great.

I still intend to try Trillian at some point though.
