I am running windows NT and it was working fine till I downloaded some video software and after I installed the software, it receommends reboot. However, once I reboot, I get a blue screen of death while its loading NT. It never gets to the logon screen. Whatever service or driver that software loaded is causing this crash. How can I remove the offending driver or service? I can probably boot up at the dos prompt but do not know how to remove this driver/ service. Can anyone hep?

    thanks in advance.

Will it boot in VGA mode? That's about the closest NT4 has to a real safe mode boot.

Have you tried holding the space bar down at startup to invoke last known good mode, or does it not let you get that far?

    Lots of luck to you.
