    I would like to remove the arrows on my shortcut icons on my desktop. I have xp powertoys installed, but so far have failed to figure out how to remove the arrows. Thanks for your help.

    Thanks Decon, but like I said, I already have Tweak UI installed as part of the Power Toys. I just have yet to figure out how to remove the shortcut icon arrows.

    If you already have Tweak UI installed that click on the "Explorer Tab. At the top of this screen in the area named Shortcut Overlay select "None ".

    OK... I'll bite.....

    Tweak UI, then expand Explorer and find Shortcut............
