    Hi Rich,

I tried the pages that you listed. The rogers link gives me "page not found ". The time page came up in 2.75 seconds. The Netscape page came up pretty quick with two ads popping up. Actually, page is listed and still reads "Transferring data from cdn.netscape.com ". As far as I can tell, no transfer is taking place.

Any ways, I am still following the thread. Ramona has more knowledge in this area and I will let her throw in more suggestions. I may be wrong, but I believe it's your provider more then anything right now.

Hey, good morning y'all, and thanks for the friendship.

Well, I have reverted back to my original Girl Guide French home page, http://www.guidesottawa.ca/ to minimize any further aggravation from web sites offering up all sorts of fancy shmancy content.

No pop ups, no heavy duty content, no disappearing images. Wah! what a relief...

    Hi busybee

If you can always load the problem page with IE, ISP would not be my first consideration.
    Check this.... GoTo.......
Edit| Preferences| Advance--Expand| select ..... Scripts and Plugins. ALL entries should have a tick, EXCEPT no tick for "Mail and Newsgroup ". If any ticks added/removed, close/reload Netscape. Ramona is questioning your use/need of two profiles... have you had a chance to address them?

    Hi,
I need only one profile. The other one is a carry over from an old install which I thought I had eliminated. Obviously not. Oh, that's not true... I copied over these files from backup to get back my e-mail archives/messages and associated data... Shieash...

!WoW! I reverted to my ISP's home page for my home page. The problem seems to have been rectified!!!...

Heeeeeyy! even the fancy graphics seem to have been fixed

Muchos Gratias all of you... I hope that's the end of my problems...

Hmmmm... http://netscape.com/ still not giving up some images w/NS7.02, view images followed by refresh turns it around showing all images and full content; EI6.0 very, very slow loading but gives all images...

    Rich,

Great news! Hopefully, the problem will stay rectified. If not, post back.
