When I first dialup and connect to my ISP I get a connect notification message popup next to my task bar on the right corner. It tells me I have connected to my ISP. I have to click on the close X to get rid of it or it will just sit there. Is there anyway to stop it from poping up. Thanks Jack

    http://www.windows-help.net/WindowsXP/tune-03.html

    shows you how

    Start the Registry Editor
    Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced
Right-click an empty space in the right pane and select New > DWORD Value
    Name the new value EnableBalloonTips
You should leave the Value data set at 0
    Close the registry editor
Log off, or restart Windows for the changes to take effect

i believe the tweaking toolbox in XP Powertoys also does this. But don't it this way is also fine. :)
