    System -
    Compaq 6000
    1.99 GHz
    504 MB of RAM

If I leave my computer on for more than a full day and log back in to it - after the system hesitating for a minute the graphics setting/display settings become real whacked and it tells me I have to reboot. After I reboot everything is fine and then I am given the error report below.

My question: what can I do to correct the problem?

    Your time is greatly appreciated.

    Error signature:
    BCCode : ea BCP1 : 81D1A1F0 BCP2: 81FAAED8 BCP3: 8232F008
    BCP4: 00000007 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 1_0 Product : 768_1

The following files will be included in this error report:
    C:\\Windows\minidump\mini031303-01.dmp
    C:\docume~1\ksr\locals~1\temp\wer1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

    Event Viewer Log

Below are the three events that seem to be connected according to the time and date of the records. Please advise exactly what device/driver specifically is this saying is causing the problem.
Much thanks!!! I bought this at Best Buy and really do not trust their tech support.

The driver ialmmt5 for the display device \Device\Video0 got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates a problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.

Application pop up: Windows "“ system error "“ Microsoft Windows detected and recovered from a device failure. Please save your work and reboot.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was:
    0x000000ea (0x81d1a1c8, 0x8220f008, 0x822b7008, 0x00000001).
A dump was saved in C:\windows\minidump\mini031503-01.dmp.

OK. Now we need details on your graphics card; model, make, etc.

If you have any trouble assembling the information, download and install this tool:

    http://www.aida32.hu/download/aida32pe_330.exe

It will give you info on your hardware.

What is your computer's model number? Is it a Presario? XP Pro or Home? (There are a number of different 6000's, like 6000e, etc.)

    updated

I just went to the Intel site referenced by the program you had me download to get a report on my system. I installed the new driver for the card.

Is there something else I should do?

That was basically what I was thinking. And looking for drivers at the Compaq site if the card comes with the computer.

See if that solves your problem. If not, come back.

    Good luck.
