IE Eats "My Favorite" Icons

    When I bookmark a site, IE 6 puts a nifty site-specific icon next to the name in "my Favorites" menu. This icon stays minutes, hours, days...but eventually is replaced with a blue M$e icon. Why? How can I prevent this from happening? How can I restore the icons I used to have? This is not a problem, just a nuisance, and I have never figured this mystery out! Is this problem unique to XP, or is it all OSes? Thanks for any insight anyone has.

    The icons are lost every time you clear your temp files. This may help?
