type 1 fonts

could anyone help me to get hold of the type 1 font "ZapfDingbats" and how and where to install it???

 

I am no expert, but I have downloaded many fonts recently. If you go to a search engine (I like Google) and put in fonts, you will hit plenty of sites and can find the one you want, I'm sure. Once you do, you'll click to download (usually a button for this on most sites)...I usually save it to my desktop temporarily. You'll need to unzip most font files...I use WinZip. Once you unzip, you'll see a window with the files listed. Then open your control panel and open the fonts folder there. Then you can just drag and drop the font file into the fonts folder. If you can't drag and drop, then in the fonts folder, choose the option to install a new font (in the drop down under file), and follow the prompts, giving the location of the downloaded font file. That's it! Good luck! Hope my info. is correct!

I just downloaded ZapfDingbats from Adobe and after unzipping it, the readme file opened automatically with good instructions on how and where to install the font.
