Need help with Sims HOT Date

I am having issues with installing Sims Hot Date, it keeps coming up with out of memory error. Its not like I dont have enough 512 Meg of RAM with at least 8 gig free H/drive space. I am running windows XP tried it on ME still with no success. Help Please

 

i don't have Hot Date, but try disabling your anti virus program, and if you have a firewall, try shutting that down.

Otherwise, there is a group @ yahoo groups that you can join and ask this question.

In fact, I know that people have had issues with the expansion pack and XP. Not sure if there have been issues with ME. (In fact, I have read (probably on SimWatch --- see below for address --- that Maxis said the game was not designed for XP)
