Noticed some info in other threads relative to Go Back. Is this feature always a problem with XP Prof and if so, can it be disabled upon installation.

I have had a new copy of Syst Works 2003 sitting here pondering an nstallation. Maybe I should just maintain my 2002 which works fine.

    Rayz,

Can't specifically help with XP Pro, but I do have XP on my Dell. I just installed Norton's 2003 SystemWorks on the system. I did not load everything, but when I finished the installation, I was asked to insert the CD to install Roxio's Go Back. Therefore, I'm assuming that it is a separate program to be loaded after installing Nortons.

    Hope that helps!

    Mike

GoBack is indeed a separate program on the Norton Disk. If you install Go Back and are not satisfied with it you may uninstall it just like any other program you don't want or need.

I have Win XP Home and Go Back gave me trouble when booting. Would Boot but not easily. Just uninstalled it and all was fine.

The problem with some third-party apps is incompatibility with the NTFS format.

My recently install CD-RW drive with Nero software will not backup NTFS, but there is supposed to be a patch available in the near future.
