printer not compatible with windows 2000

I have a hewlett packard,Printer scanner,copier model 720 and it will not install.Says its not compatible with windows 2000, is there any way to correct this issue?????? Ive tryed everything.right now im printing with hewlett packard 330 installed but cant use fax,scanner ect.I would greatly appreciate anyones imput

 

Short of getting a new one that will work with 2000, afraid I can't suggest anything. "Not compatible" means just that.

 

I checked HP's driver page and they list Win 95, 98, NT4... and that's it! So it looks like you're out of luck unless HP decides to do a Win2K driver.

 

Have you tried calling HP? My father just went through this with an HP scanner. He called HP and the lady said, "Oh yeah, we haven't posted that driver set to the web yet..." About 10 minutes and a 3.5MB download later, he was cookin' with gas!!
