problem with content advisor

    I have set up the content advisor with some settings, but have now lost the password. An error message has started coming up (I don’t know why) which says something along the lines of "Please check your content advisor settings for missing informationâ€. Since I cant get into the content advisor settings I do not know what I can do. This message comes up when explorer is loaded. I cannot access websites because of this problem.

    By the way, this is explorer 5 on windows 98.

    Try this.

    Be sure hidden files and folders are enabled. Do a search for policy files:
    *.pol

    The one you find will probably be ratings.pol, but delete any that are there. A new one will be rebuilt if you need it.

    I have deleted the file you said, and there dont seem to be any other .pol files in the windows directory. The problem is still happening. Is there any sort of password grabbing tool i could use to get the password again?

    Having actually searched for the info on how to do this in google, ive found a site which explains how to delete the password.
