    Hi,

As always, thanx in advance for the never-ending source of help all of you are on this forum! ;)

Okay, so I downloaded, via FTP, a carload of digital pics from my daughter. Her Sony digital places them in Windows Explorer as around 3500 Kb per photo.

Needless to say, download time inspired this question.

Is there any way (program) that I can use to trim them all down to a smaller size, lots at a time. Doing it, one by one, in Photoshop is a real pain.

So how about it, folks? Is this a pipe-dream or a possibility. I use ACDSee as a viewer. You tell me.

    Thanx again everyone! :)

    Randy (Homer) :D

Irfanview has batch conversion capabilities. Whether these were native to the original app or part of the plugin files I downloaded, I don't remember. In any case, the plugins are a good idea to expand the program's usefulness.

For emailing, I generally convert these large pics to jpg. Though it is a lossy format, most of the time I see no difference and the files are considerably smaller.
