Any One Could Tell Me If My Computers Strong Enough For Wimdow Xp

HI,
HOPE SOMEONE COULD ANSWERS ME ON THAT ONE .
I HAVE WINDOW 98 BUT MY SISTER GOT A NEW COMPUTER WITH WINDOW X.P. I FIND IT VERY NICE TO USE IT AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF MY COMPUTER IS STRONG ENOUGH . IF I DECIDE TO CHANGE IT TO WINDOW X.P. WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE CAUSE I WANT A COMPUTER THAT WORK FINE .OK MY COMPUTER IS AN INTEL CELERON 1.2GIG, 56K MODEM 150 MEGA RAM 50 X C.D.ROM 10 GIGS HARD DRIVE . SO WITH ALL THIS IF SOMEONE COULD TELL ME I WOULD APPRICIATE THAT VERY MUCH P.S IS THERE EDITION 1 OR EDITION 2 ON THE WINDOW X.P. OR JUST ONE EDITION YET . THANKS YOU VERY MUCH .GUILDA .

 

The specs on your computer are OK, not ideal but OK!

As for the version of XP question. Yes there is 2 versions. XP Home and XP Pro.

You should get XP Pro.

If you do decide to make the move there are some XP Hardware and Software compatability checks you should make from win98 to try to assure you can go up.

Then when you do it there are many ways to install and we can advise here also!
