I have Windows XP on my Laptop and Windows 2000 on my desktop. I have Laplink PCSync 3 on both. I have connected them with a USB-USB network bridge cable. The connection worked OK first time and I was able to transfer 7 Gig of data to my Laptop.

When I tried to transfer this data back I received the message that Laplink had caused a problem with Windows XP and would be terminated. I was give the option to send a message to Microsoft - which I did.

This error has persisted even though I have uninstalled and reloaded PCSync several times.

The USB-USB link is working OK with Laplink Musicmaker which is loaded at the same time as PCSync.

    Can anyone help resolve this?

    Thanks.
