Go to Dell web site and there will be a link to your hardware configuration and specs. Off hand, I believe your P/S is 250 W.

Dell is usually real good about stating right on the P/S what the rating is. Their new GX260 is a P4 3.06G, 1 G DDR, 80 G Hd, CDRW/DVD player & floppy is all controlled by a 160 Watt P/S. Wish I knew how they did it.

Pop the hood and have a look....

Dell advertised about a year ago a 4300S (slim Chassis) with 250soft power P/S. Actual inspection of the unit revealed 160W (power and watt usually have the same meaning). And for most people that would be a misleading statement especially so when no one in manufacturing personnel could explain what they meant by soft power. Problem was resolved with an exhange for a PC with 250W.
