Sounds like maybe a memory problem Jerry
have you maybe disturbed anything in the case ?
I suggest you take your ram out and re-seat it carefully to make sure its well seated and try again
Take care tosupport the motherboard if you have to press hard by inserting a strip of cardboard beneath the edge of the board adjaxcent to the memory socket.
If no joy either try your memory in another PC or try a known good stick in your PC

Have you tried saving the BIOS settings? Go through the BIOS or set it to defaults and save that.
If nothing, maybe ram, but you usually get a message on that.

    bootup problem

    Peanut,

Finally I had a chance to check the RAM in another computer. They worked fine. After reinstaling them in the computer having the bootup problem, same conditions exist:3 beeps and the Screen says :CHECKING NVRAM,and stays there.
