Everytime I go to run liveupdate in either my Norton antivirus or Norton firewall, I get a message saying I'm not hooked to the internet. I have DSL so I'm always connected. Help!

Have you looked at Symantec's site? There are numerous issues with live update and how to correct.

I finally found it. "How to reset LiveUpdate ". Click start, find, files or folders, look in "C" drive. In the search box type "*hst" Look at the In Folder and delete all files. Next type in the search box "Settings. LiveUpdate ". Then delete the settings. Then type in S32LUH1.DLL if it is found, delete it. which I did. LiveUpdate now works. Thanks to all for your help.
