Whenever I send a message, it says "Hilary Sigmon" in the "From" line. That is my mom but I am the only one who uses OE. How can I change this? Is it possible? Thanks alot, Brian

    Hiya kingb123,

In OE, on the menu bar, click TOOLS and select ACCOUNTS. Highlight your account and click on PROPERTIES from the right side. On the GENERAL tab under USER INFORMATION, type in the name you want.

That's weird- the name in that field was not the name in the "From" line. Anyone else got a suggestion or is he right?

He is right for OE. But your subject line is Outlook, and your question is for OE. Which is it? Do you have more than one account in OE?

Do you have more than one account/identity set up in OE?

ski123 advice was correct. After making the change he suggested did you open the account again to see whether the name you entered there was saved?

Also, have you tried setting up a new account using the wizard and making it the default account?
