Order of Boot in BIOS

Hi, I'm sorry for being such a worrier but I'm about to go from Win98se to Win2000 Pro. I think I'm pretty much set. My Win2000 CD is NOT bootable. So I have my 4 floppys with setup boot disks, My 3 service packs are on CD. So my only question is the sequence of the BIOS boot. I have been told that it should be A-HD-CD. I went into Setup Utility but couldn't get to the "BOOT" tab. I'm not sure of myself enough to fool around with the BIOS if I need to change sequence. I have a HP 8575c Pavilion. I guess I just put in the #1 floppy, restart, and hope my sequence is okay for the Clean Install of Win2000 and the booting of my PC.

As long as it boots to A before HD, then you should have no issues loading Win2k. If the BIOS has not been modified, the sequence should be good for you to do what you need to.

 

Thank you Swelldom,,I was able to do it thanks to the help I got from you and my other friends on here I was just worried that I would goof up and not be able to use my PC at all. The wife and kids would put me in dog house AGAIN
