Start Menu (context menu) options

Gudday' , I've got a small and puzzeling glitch in the context menu of my Win98se Start Button. When I right click it the first 2 (two) options are grayed and unavailable. I have been directed, from time to time, by windows help, to use the "OPEN" or "EXPLORE" options and have been stopped by this unusual lack of menu option. I'm hoping someone here has had a similar bug and can tell me what fixed it. It's got me stumped, Thanks... sidermike

BTW.... still suffering from a java lock-out. Everywhere, sections of webpages display the "Page can not be displayed" ...Windows error message. Any way, it's been fun workin' on that monster....NOT.
While I'm here, and seeing as how my freeking ISP just disconnected me, I've come up with another thing I don't know how to do. (Sadly a growing list) Seems whenever I've reloaded Windows (just a guess) and the setup app starts to add programs and files to it's start up folder, a read or compare is not done. This has resulted in a long and duplicated list of TSPs. How can one edit this list? I know about the check box, but that's not good enough. Prevent the program from starting, it will. I'd like to remove the duplicates and clean the thing up some. Any sympathy?
