Could anyone be so kind as to solve this problem for me. I have WinXP and Office 2000 installed. The problem is word will not let me add to the dictionary, it tells me of words incorrectly spelt but won't let me add to the dictionary. When you live upside down in Aust. it's a bit different and lots of words are not the same as the right side up world of the Northern Hemisphere.

I would appreciate any feedback to help me with this annoying problem. The dictionary is set to <English (Australian)>
    Thanks in advance
    Dale:(

What happens when you try to add?

Guessing that colour is an example. Type colour, hit F7->click add to dictonary and boom, you "should" be done.

    Dale stated in an email:

    "Dear Steve,
Thankyou for taking the time to send advise to me. I tried what you indicated in your post, but the "Add" dialog is not active. There is no way that you can add a new word or different spelling to the dictionary.

I look forward to you continued interest, I really appreciate it,
    Kind regards "
