I can no longer access HELP for Minesweeper, Solitaire and others - when I try, nothing happens. The HELP files still exist, so I imagine some link has been corrupted.
Is this a registry problem, and if so does anyone know of a solution? I really don't want to reinstall Windows just for this!

I don't really know if this solves the problem, but if comes to a new install, u can remove only the games and then intall it again (the games only). just go to the add/remove programs. from there it should be easy...

Thanks for your note, Odlink. I was expecting a complicated solution, but I followed your suggestion and BINGO! All is now OK. As my XP was preloaded I was not aware of the possibility of reloading games/utilities. Thanks again!
