I'm trying to find out/learn more about command arguments for word.
What I want to do is have an argument for word that will open a .txt file and have it save it as a .doc file, without me going thru the steps. This can be done by a command argument.
    Example:
    windword.exe c:\temp\score.txt ..........

Can anyone help me with finding information on building command arguments or knows how to create this one.
    Thanks...

    Wouldn't use Commandline

I guess I'd use the command line to not only open Word to a txt file but also to open a specific template. Into that template I would record a Macro named Autoexec that did the necessary save format and closed Word afterward. It would take a little tweaking, but it's doable.

Also, Under Tools, Macro, Security, I'd change security to LOW just for the time you would be runningthis special setup.

    Hope that helps.
