Vanishing Outbox (Sent Folder) Contents!

Subject: Vanishing Outbox contents in my e-mail folder.

Hi,

I find all the contents in my Outbox (Sent Folder) suddenly disappear when I launch my e-mail. Can some one help to explain what seems to have happened and is there any way to retrieve all the vanished correspondence? Thank you for all the help.

I'm confused. Outbox and sent folder are two different folders.

 

If they are emails in your outbox most likely they're getting sent when you open OE. Click tools-options and on the general tab there's a line that says send and recieve messages at startup. If it's checked, the emails in your out box are sent when you start OE. If you don't want this uncheck it. It's up to you. If you don't want them to go to your outbox at all, on the send tab put a check mark next to the line that says send messages immediately. If these are messages that are in your sent box, that's another story (dont' know).
