me to 98

My son has win me on his comp and we wanted to dump it and load 98 on it. Having hard time finding specific drivers for things like his ethernet card, etc. We've seen the general driver web sites. Any help? Thanks

 

Would you please tell us the brand and model of the cards you need drivers for.

 

I don't know if your Windows ME is from a regular Windows CD or from a computer manufacturers restore disk.

If from Windows CD, you can most likely use any drivers included with it.

If from a restore disk you can probably still get drivers from it. Most restore disks contain the drivers in zipped files on the disk.

Download Winzip, and browse the disk(s) until you find the zipped files containing the specific drivers.

If you're looking for drivers for devices that are built onto the motherboard, go the Motherboard manufacturers website. If you're looking for drivers for peripherals, go to the website of whatever manufacturer made the peripheral.
